Your draft
Photos and notes stay in your browser while you edit and preview. Continuing to checkout uploads the five photos and the finished gift to our server. Personal writing-helper details are excluded from the shared gift.
Your gift link
Anyone with the recipient link can view the gift and save its photos. The link is not listed in public search. Keep the separate private delivery page to yourself: it gives access to the order and gift link.
Storage
Published photos and notes are accessible for 180 days after payment confirmation, then removed by scheduled cleanup. Unpaid uploads expire no later than 180 days after upload. A draft saved in your browser remains until you clear it. Order records have a separate retention policy.
Payments and security
Checkout sends your email, currency and order amount to lava.top. We do not receive your card number. Our order database keeps a keyed hash of the email, order identifiers and payment status. The pending gift email is encrypted on our server; its address and message are removed after the delivery service accepts it, or when its retention period expires. When enabled, Resend receives your email address and gift links to deliver the transactional confirmation. Essential session cookies prevent request forgery; local storage remembers your draft and delivery page. There is no advertising tracking. Optional first-party counters keep daily event totals grouped by a general source category and device class, without visitor identifiers, full URLs, raw browser information or gift contents. When enabled, the same two categories are attached to an order to count its confirmed payment; they follow order-record retention. These totals are kept for up to 90 days; temporary request limits protect them from abuse.
Writing assistance
If you choose the optional model assistant, the text you submit is sent to the configured model provider. Your gift photos are not sent to that provider by checkout.
Required before launch
The final notice must name the controller and hosting/processors, identify applicable legal bases and international transfers, explain access/deletion requests and complaints, and specify payment-record and backup retention.
